Some nuclear blackmail scenarios:
- Suppose Putin demands that America gives back Alaska. If America refuses to do so he pledges to start an all-out nuclear war using the full Russian arsenal including the Russian doomsday torpedoes that cause radioactive tsunamis.
Should America give in to this threat?
- North Korea claims they created a doomsday machine that can kill everyone and which they will use if Kim Jong-un isn't accepted as god emperor with absolute power over all living people. They publish some technical blueprints that are deemed plausible by experts around the world.
